We dug through the video vault and found vintage “Football Friday” coverage before there was a separate program that followed the 11 PM newscast. From 1981-1989, “Football Friday” consumed most of the time allotted for the 11:00 PM sportscast. In 1989 Football Friday became a program that airs after the newscast to this day.
This is a “mash-up” of a few “Football Friday” highlights that aired circa 1984-86.
